Yacht Brego is berthed in Marina La Gomera in a fantastic spot just yards from all the amenities of the town and VERY convenient for the ferry; whether you have an early departure in the morning or arrive on the last ferry in the evening.
She is comfortable and roomy, for a yacht, and sleeps 6 people in the 3 double cabins. Just imagine being gently rocked to sleep at night with the sound of the water gently lapping against the boat!
There is a saloon dining table which also comfortably seats 6 or, if you prefer, you could eat upstairs in the cockpit and enjoy the sunshine, fresh air and people watching. The cockpit table folds out and, again, comfortably seats 6 or more. There is also a Bimini (boat version of a sun shade).
The galley is equipped with hot and cold running water, a gas cooker, electric kettle and toaster, cutlery, crockery, pans, utensils etc, and a stove top espresso coffee maker. Each of the three double cabins have hanging and shelf space, as well as windows that open. There is a flat screen television (no local channels) which can play dvds and cds and also has a usb for connecting an external hard drive if you want to bring movies or music with you!

La Gomera can be reached a number of ways:-
1. The most direct route for most people. Fly to Tenerife South Airport and hop in a taxi or bus to Los Cristianos Ferry Port (about a 20 minutes journey) where you can buy tickets for either the Fred Olsen or the Naviera Armas ferries who both operate direct links to San Sebastian de La Gomera. You can also pre-book tickets online with both companies. We will meet you when you alight from the ferry and take you directly to the yacht.
2. A bit longer and more indirect but allows you to see a bit of La Gomera on the journey. Fly to Tenerife North Airport and then get an inter-island flight to La Gomera. You must then get a bus from the airport to to the main town of San Sebastian, where we will meet you at the bus station and take you directly to the yacht.
The yacht, Brego, is situated in a fantastic location close to many local bars and restaurants, shops and the town square. It is also very convenient for the ferries, and the bus station is a five minute walk away. In the Marina you can watch colourful, local fishing boats coming and going as well as other yachts, both of the sailing and motor variety. The Marina has a small community of people who live aboard their boats so there is always someone around but it is never what you could call busy. San Sebastian de La Gomera, while being the main town on the island, is a quaint small town with bars/restaurants, regular colourful fiestas and concerts in the plaza, and quite a few things to see and do. There is a fairly comprehensive Information Folder available on the yacht containing some suggestions you might like to consider both in the town and on the wider island. It is also worth exploring the island, it is a fantastic place with "wow" moments and photographic opportunities round every corner!
